DSG is proud to announce the recent launch of our outstanding new website! Like all of our clients and most companies in America, the COVID-19 lockdown forced us to take a hard look at our branding and value proposition to see how we can adjust and improve. The site’s refresh helps us to better convey our expertise with a more modern feel. The project has been many long months in the works, and DSG could not be happier with the results. Please visit the new website  , and let us know what you think!

Why Did DSG Upgrade?

The primary reason that DSG chose to undergo such a major upgrade was because the previous website was far outdated. It was in need of a large number of technical clean-ups, a more secure server, and better optimization for mobile use, among other issues. The DSG team elected that a complete rebrand and launch of a new site would fulfill all of the technical updates that the site required, as well as provide some much-needed clarity to our messaging. As experts in the marketing world, we wanted to put our own best practices to work. So, we put our best foot forward and pulled together our top-performing team to achieve what DSG does best.

What’s New?

When we say our site got a complete refresh, we really mean it. You’ll find that every page and subpage is bursting with new content. Our homepage displays our updated mission statement which aligns with the new direction of the agency. We wanted to be sure to highlight our core competencies, because DSG does things differently than other marketing agencies. In addition to our technical updates and revamped branding, we’ve done loads of work behind the scenes. This includes supporting our robust ongoing SEO strategy, as well as adding a number of CTA’s and form fills to the site to increase user engagement, capture leads, and emphasize conversions.

The site itself serves as a fantastic example of what DSG is capable of. Whether your company is in need of a branding redesign or a complete overhaul from copywriting to a new logo, DSG has the tools to establish a custom website development plan. We ensure to maintain your online brand equity, all while creating a new and modern site that fits your business’s needs.

Our Process

If you’ve never undergone a website redesign, you may be wondering how DSG went about making these major changes. Here’s a peek at the process we followed for implementing the new website. It may seem short and sweet, but don’t be fooled – DSG has worked tirelessly for many weeks to achieve these results!

Step 1: Asset Collection – The first phase of DSG’s site revitalization involved developing a timeline and defining the scope of the project. This phase aimed to align the goals and expectations among the DSG team and to develop case notes. A wireframe outlining the new website’s layout was also developed.

Step 2: Landing Page and Subpage Development – This phase involved utilizing the wireframe[1] to develop landing page templates while simultaneously copywriting the language that would eventually become the body of the pages.

Step 3: Development of the Site – During this phase, the templates formed in previous steps were combined with the copy to create the fully formed webpages in a staging site.[2] Several rounds of revisions ensured that each of the many subpages were free of errors and met DSG’s expectations.

Step 4: Deployment – The final phase of DSG’s site development was to launch the site. The DSG team performed extensive testing, and the site will undergo continual maintenance to ensure its’ continued functionality.

[1] A wireframe is a visual guide that represents the framework or blueprint of a website. Wireframes are created for the purpose of arranging elements to best accomplish a particular purpose (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Website_wireframe).

[2] A staging site is a clone of your live website. It enables you to test any changes or major new features that you plan to implement in a secure environment. Developers typically use staging sites to test changes and fix bugs before going to production (https://wpengine.com/resources/what-is-a-staging-site-why-have-one/)
