Search results vary depending on one’s search habits, device used, and (most prominently) location, so properly advising a client for SEO can be difficult when you are seeing different search results than they are. Luckily for you, it is easier than you may expect to perform a Google search as if you were in a different location. Here’s how to do it.

To alter your search, you must add “&near=cityname” to the end of your Google search URL. For example, here’s what your search bar should look like if you are searching for a dentist near Philadelphia:
